We hope you enjoy your visit to our site and set out below the terms and conditions of its use by you.

 

The use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk and it shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.

 

This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.

 

The content of the pages of this website is subject to change without notice and should be used for information purposes only.

 

We reserve the right to photograph items made and if wish to do so display them on our web site.

 

We reserve the right to change our prices for goods and postage at anytime.

 

You have the right to cancel your order up to to 7 days after the date on which the order was placed and paid for in full. After this time unfortunately we cannot accept cancellation of your order as work would have begun on your personalised gift.

 

Please note that if an impression kit has been despatched to yourself the cost of this will be deducted from any refund given unless returned to us complete.

 

We aim to post all completed pieces 3 weeks from receipt of your prints/casts. However, we reserve the right to extend those periods especially during busier periods at Christmas, Mother's Day and Father's Day.

 

Impression kits

 

We aim to dispatch impression kits within 48 hours of receiving payment for your order.

 

The impression kit contains enough putty to take 2 impressions and we will pick the best one to work from. If we are unable to use the impressions you have sent to us, we will notify you and there will be a charge of £4.00 per kit to send you replacements.

 

If your impression kit gets lost in the post this is beyond our control. There will be a £4.00 kit re-issue fee to pay before we can send you another kit. We do not routinely inform you when your print arrives in the post. If you’d like to know if we have received your impression kit then please contact us approx 3 days after posting it to us.

 

Your fingerprint impression will be kept on file for a year and you can reorder any of our products in this time using it. After this time a new fingerprint impression will be needed. Please mention that you have a fingerprint impression on file at checkout.

 

Payment

 

Payment for all goods shall be made when you place your order. Work will not commence on your purchase until payment is received in full.

 

The price does not include delivery of the goods to your address, unless otherwise arranged.

 

We will contact you immediately if part of your item is out of stock, in which case you will have the option of placing the order on backorder, choosing an alternative or we will provide you with a full refund.

 

We request all of our customers to have registered addresses.

 

Returns & Refunds Policy

 

Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns on personalised goods unless they are faulty or damaged. We take no responsibility for mistreatment and neglect of your fingerprint jewellery.

 

Please inspect the goods when you receive them for damage. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt of goods. We will do everything possible to resolve the problem.

 

The Dinky Fingerprint Company are not responsible for any errors in information supplied by the customer. If we have made a mistake on your order and items are to be returned please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order and we will respond within 48 hours advising what to do. We recommend that goods be returned to us via recorded delivery and a receipt is obtained for proof of postage. Until we receive the returns they are the responsibility of the customer. We are unable to accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit.

Your name and contact information, including email address. We do NOT store or share any credit card numbers or payment details.

 

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

 

From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.
